Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, chilled and diced
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup ice water
- 4 cups plums, pitted and sliced
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, and salt.
- Add butter and mix until crumbly.
- Stir in ice water until dough forms.
- Roll out the dough and fit into a tart pan.
- In another bowl, combine plums, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice.
- Pour the plum mixture into the crust.
- Bake for 45 minutes or until the plums are tender.
- Let cool before serving.
Notes
- Use ripe plums for the best flavor.
- Serve with whipped cream or ice cream.
