- 1 pie crust
- 2 cups pumpkin puree
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Roll out the pie crust and place it in a pie dish.
- In a large bowl, mix pumpkin puree, heavy cream, brown sugar, granulated sugar, eggs, and spices until smooth.
- Pour the pumpkin mixture into the prepared crust.
- Bake for 15 minutes, then reduce the temperature to 350°F (175°C) and bake for an additional 40-50 minutes.
- Check for doneness by inserting a knife; it should come out clean.
- Let the pie cool before serving.
Notes
- Serve with whipped cream if desired.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
