  • 24 ladyfinger cookies
  • 2 cups mascarpone cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup dark chocolate shavings

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix coffee and coffee liqueur.
  2. Dip each ladyfinger into the coffee mixture briefly.
  3. Layer half of the dipped ladyfingers in a baking dish.
  4. In another bowl, whip heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  5. In a separate bowl, combine mascarpone, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  6. Fold whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture.
  7. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.
  8. Repeat layering with the remaining ladyfingers and mascarpone mixture.
  9. Dust the top with cocoa powder and sprinkle chocolate shavings.
  10. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
