Ingredients

- 1 cup strong brewed coffee, cooled
- 1/2 cup coffee liqueur
- 24 ladyfinger cookies
- 2 cups mascarpone cheese
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup dark chocolate shavings
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix coffee and coffee liqueur.
- Dip each ladyfinger into the coffee mixture briefly.
- Layer half of the dipped ladyfingers in a baking dish.
- In another bowl, whip heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
- In a separate bowl, combine mascarpone, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
- Fold whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture.
- Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.
- Repeat layering with the remaining ladyfingers and mascarpone mixture.
- Dust the top with cocoa powder and sprinkle chocolate shavings.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
