Ingredients

- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.
- Add granulated sugar, brown sugar, and salt, stirring until combined.
- Remove from heat and mix in flour.
- Spread the mixture in a greased baking dish.
- Bake for 20 minutes until golden brown.
- Remove from oven and sprinkle chocolate chips on top.
- Let sit for 5 minutes, then spread melted chocolate evenly.
- Top with chopped nuts.
- Cool completely before cutting into squares.
