Description

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Combine sugar and water in a saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Stir until the sugar dissolves.
  3. Bring the mixture to a boil without stirring.
  4. Once boiling, add cinnamon extract and food coloring if using.
  5. Continue to boil until the candy thermometer reaches 300°F (hard crack stage).
  6. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
  7. Pour the mixture onto a greased baking sheet.
  8. Allow to cool completely before breaking into pieces.
