Description
Cinnamon rock candy is a sweet treat made from sugar and flavored with cinnamon.
Ingredients

- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 1 cup water
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon extract
- 1/2 teaspoon food coloring (optional)
Instructions
- Combine sugar and water in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Stir until the sugar dissolves.
- Bring the mixture to a boil without stirring.
- Once boiling, add cinnamon extract and food coloring if using.
- Continue to boil until the candy thermometer reaches 300°F (hard crack stage).
- Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
- Pour the mixture onto a greased baking sheet.
- Allow to cool completely before breaking into pieces.

- Store in an airtight container.
- Adjust cinnamon flavor to your liking.
- Be careful with hot sugar syrup.
