Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine warm milk, yeast, and sugar. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
  2. Add melted butter, egg, and salt to the mixture. Stir well.
  3. Gradually mix in flour until a dough forms.
  4. Knead the dough for 5-7 minutes until smooth.
  5. Place dough in a greased bowl and cover. Let it rise for 1 hour.
  6. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  7. Roll out the dough and cut into squares.
  8. Mix brown sugar and cinnamon in a bowl.
  9. Coat each square in the cinnamon sugar mixture.
  10. Stack the squares in a loaf pan.
  11. Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
  12. Let cool before serving.
