Ingredients

- 10 cups of bread cubes
- 1 cup of chopped onion
- 1 cup of chopped celery
- 1/2 cup of unsalted butter
- 2 cups of chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon of dried sage
- 1 tablespoon of dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
- 2 eggs, beaten
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add onion and celery, sauté until soft.
- Combine bread cubes and sautéed vegetables in a large bowl.
- Add broth, sage, thyme, salt, pepper, and eggs. Mix well.
- Transfer to a greased baking dish.
- Bake for 30-40 minutes until golden brown.
Notes
- Use stale bread for better texture.
- Adjust seasonings to taste.
- Stuffing can be made a day ahead and baked before serving.
