- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup onion, chopped
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, onion, egg, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into a loaf and place it in a baking dish.
- In a small bowl, mix ketchup and brown sugar for the glaze.
- Spread the glaze over the meatloaf.
- Bake for 1 hour or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
- Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
Notes
- For added flavor, use ground pork or turkey.
- Serve with mashed potatoes or vegetables.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
