Ingredients
- All-purpose flour: 2 cups (240g)
- Granulated sugar: 3/4 cup (150g)
- Baking powder: 2 teaspoons
- Baking soda: 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt: 1/2 teaspoon
- Whole milk: 1/2 cup (120ml)
- Eggs: 2 large
- Unsalted butter: 1/4 cup (60g), melted
- Vanilla extract: 1 teaspoon
- Powdered sugar: 1 cup (120g)
- Water: 2 tablespoons (30ml)
- Black chocolate: 1/2 cup (90g), melted
- Candy spiders: a few
Instructions
- Prepare the dough by mixing dry ingredients in a bowl and whisking wet ingredients in another bowl. Combine them gently.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease the donut pan. Fill the cavities with batter.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden brown. Cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
- Prepare the glaze by mixing powdered sugar and water. Dip the tops of the cooled donuts into the glaze.
- Drizzle melted black chocolate over the glazed donuts in a spiderweb pattern and add candy spiders for decoration.
