Ingredients

- 2 cups of rice
- 1 pound of chicken breast, diced
- 1 cup of mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup of heavy cream
- 2 cups of chicken broth
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat the olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add the onion and garlic, sauté until translucent.
- Add the chicken and cook until browned.
- Add the mushrooms and cook until softened.
- Stir in the rice, then add the chicken broth and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes.
- Stir in the heavy cream, season with salt and pepper, and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
- Serve warm.
