Description
Creamy smothered chicken and rice is a comforting dish made with tender chicken and creamy sauce served over rice.
Ingredients

			- 4 boneless chicken breasts
 - 1 cup long grain rice
 - 2 cups chicken broth
 - 1 cup heavy cream
 - 1 onion, chopped
 - 2 cloves garlic, minced
 - 1 teaspoon paprika
 - Salt to taste
 - Pepper to taste
 - 2 tablespoons olive oil
 
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
 - Season chicken with salt, pepper, and paprika.
 - Brown chicken on both sides, about 5 minutes per side.
 - Remove chicken and set aside.
 - In the same skillet, add onion and garlic. Sauté until softened.
 - Add rice and stir for 1 minute.
 - Pour in chicken broth and bring to a boil.
 - Reduce heat, add chicken back to the skillet, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes.
 - Stir in heavy cream and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
 - Serve hot over rice.
