- 1 large onion, sliced into rings
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup plant-based milk
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt to taste
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Slice the onion into rings.
- In a bowl, mix flour, garlic powder, paprika, and salt.
- Dip each onion ring into the flour mixture, then into the plant-based milk, and finally into the breadcrumbs.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Fry the onion rings until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Remove and drain on paper towels.
- Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
- Use gluten-free flour for a gluten-free version.
- Adjust seasoning to your taste.
- For oven-baked rings, bake at 400°F (200°C) for 20 minutes.
