A simple and delicious crockpot chuck roast recipe.
Ingredients

- 3 lbs chuck roast
- 2 cups beef broth
- 4 carrots, chopped
- 3 potatoes, diced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- Season the chuck roast with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Sear the roast on all sides until browned.
- Place the roast in the crockpot.
- Add carrots, potatoes, onion, and garlic on top of the roast.
- Pour in beef broth and Worcestershire sauce.
- Sprinkle thyme over the ingredients.
- Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours.
- Check for tenderness and serve warm.
Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate the roast overnight.
- You can add more vegetables according to your preference.
- Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
