Delicious meatless baked ziti is a comforting pasta dish layered with cheese and marinara sauce.
Ingredients

- 12 oz ziti pasta
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the ziti pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
- In a large bowl, mix cooked pasta, marinara sauce, ricotta cheese, oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Transfer half of the mixture to a baking dish.
- Sprinkle with half of the mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- Add the remaining pasta mixture on top.
- Top with the rest of the mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- Feel free to add vegetables like spinach or mushrooms.
- Can be prepared ahead and stored in the fridge before baking.
