A simple and delicious apple strudel recipe.

- 4 large apples, peeled and sliced
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 cup raisins
- 1 package phyllo dough
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg, beaten for egg wash
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix apples, sugar, cinnamon, and raisins.
- Lay out one sheet of phyllo dough and brush with melted butter.
- Layer another sheet on top and brush with butter again.
- Sprinkle breadcrumbs on the dough.
- Place the apple mixture along one edge of the dough.
- Roll the dough tightly around the filling.
- Place the strudel on a baking sheet and brush with egg wash.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool before slicing and serving.
Notes
- Serve warm or at room temperature.
- Can be dusted with powdered sugar before serving.
- Use different types of apples for varied flavor.
