- 2 black tea bags
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 4 cardamom pods
- 4 cloves
- 1 inch piece of fresh ginger, sliced
- 1 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
- 2 tablespoons honey or sugar (to taste)
Instructions
- Boil water in a saucepan.
- Add tea bags and spices to the water.
- Simmer for 10 minutes.
- Strain the mixture into a cup.
- Heat the milk in a separate pot.
- Froth the milk if desired.
- Add milk to the tea mixture.
- Sweeten with honey or sugar.
