Ingredients

- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 large eggs
- 1 1/2 cups eggnog
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Maple syrup for serving
Instructions
- Preheat the waffle iron.
- In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, nutmeg, cinnamon, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk eggs, eggnog, melted butter, and vanilla.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients until just mixed.
- Pour batter into the waffle iron and cook according to manufacturer’s instructions.
- Serve with maple syrup.

- For a richer flavor, use homemade eggnog.
