Instructions

  2. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
  3. Add onions and cook until caramelized, about 20 minutes.
  4. Stir in beef broth and thyme, simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. Add heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  6. Mix in cooked pasta and half of the cheese.
  7. Top with remaining cheese and broil until golden.
