Ingredients

- 2 ribeye steaks
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Remove steaks from refrigerator and let them come to room temperature.
- Season both sides of the steaks with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the steaks to the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium rare.
- In the last minute of cooking, add butter and garlic to the skillet.
- Spoon the melted garlic butter over the steaks as they finish cooking.
- Remove steaks from skillet and let rest for 5 minutes.
- Slice and serve, garnished with fresh parsley.
