  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh thyme, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary, chopped

  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 lemon, halved

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the butter, garlic, thyme, rosemary, parsley, salt, and pepper.
  3. Pat the chicken dry with paper towels.
  4. Rub the herb butter mixture all over the chicken and under the skin.
