Instructions

  4. In another bowl, cream butter and sugar.
  5. Add molasses and eggs to the butter mixture.
  6. Alternately add dry ingredients and buttermilk to the wet mixture.

  8. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
