  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup hot water

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, baking soda, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream butter and brown sugar together.
  4. Add molasses and eggs to the butter mixture. Mix well.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture.
  6. Pour in hot water and stir until smooth.
  7. Pour the batter into a greased cake pan.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Let the cake cool before serving.
