Ingredients

- 2 cups milk or water

- 1/4 cup molasses
- 1/4 cup brown sugar

- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine oats, milk or water, ginger, cinnamon, and salt.
- Bring to a boil over medium heat.
- Reduce heat and simmer for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Stir in molasses, brown sugar, and nutmeg.
- Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until thickened.
- Serve warm, topped with nuts if desired.
