A flavorful Hawaiian-inspired chicken dish made in a crockpot.
Ingredients

- 2 pounds chicken fillet
- 1 cup pineapple chunks
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Place the chicken fillet in the crockpot.
- In a bowl, mix pineapple, soy sauce, brown sugar, ketchup, garlic, and ginger.
- Pour the sauce over the chicken.
- Add bell pepper and onion on top.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- Shred the chicken before serving.
- Serve over rice or with vegetables.

- Adjust sweetness by varying the brown sugar.
- Use fresh pineapple for better flavor.
- Serve with steamed rice for a complete meal.
