Ingredients

  • 1 cup oats
  • 1/2 cup chopped onions
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 2 lbs potatoes
  • 1/2 cup skim milk
  • 2 tbsp butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine turkey, oats, onions, garlic, egg, ketchup, salt, and pepper.
  3. Form the mixture into a loaf shape and place in a baking dish.
  4. Bake for 1 hour or until cooked through.
  5. Meanwhile, peel and chop potatoes.
  6. Boil potatoes in salted water until tender.
  7. Drain and mash with milk and butter.
  8. Serve meatloaf with mashed potatoes.
