Ingredients

- 1 cup cornmeal
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup milk
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup honey
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Grease a 9-inch baking dish.
- In a bowl, mix cornmeal, flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk milk, melted butter, eggs, and honey.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients until just mixed.
- Pour batter into the prepared dish.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool before serving.
Notes
- Serve with additional honey butter on top.
- Can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
- Pairs well with chili or barbecue dishes.
