Ingredients

- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons water
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, garlic, salt, and pepper.
- Add shrimp to the bowl and marinate for 15 minutes.
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Remove shrimp from marinade and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side.
- In a separate bowl, mix cornstarch with water to create a slurry.
- Add the marinade to the pan and bring to a simmer.
- Stir in the cornstarch slurry and cook until the sauce thickens.
- Serve shrimp with the sauce over rice or noodles.
Notes
- Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less honey.
- Serve with steamed vegetables for a complete meal.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge.
