- 1 1/2 cups of chocolate graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup of unsalted butter, melted
- 24 ounces of cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup of granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup of sour cream
- 1/2 cup of cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup of semi-sweet chocolate, melted
- Whipped cream for topping
- Chocolate shavings for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C).
- Mix chocolate graham cracker crumbs with melted butter.
- Press the mixture into the bottom of a springform pan.
- In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
- Add vanilla extract, then mix in eggs one at a time.
- Stir in sour cream, cocoa powder, and melted chocolate.
- Pour the cheesecake batter over the crust.
- Bake for 55-60 minutes or until the center is set.
- Let it cool, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
- Top with whipped cream and chocolate shavings before serving.
