Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 cups hot water

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add milk, oil, and vanilla to the dry ingredients. Mix well.
  4. Pour the batter into a greased baking dish.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix brown sugar and cocoa powder.
  6. Sprinkle the brown sugar mixture over the batter.
  7. Pour hot water over the top without stirring.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes.
  9. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
