Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup ground walnuts
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream butter and sugar until light.
- Add egg and vanilla to the butter mixture and mix well.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture.
- Stir in ground walnuts and milk to form dough.
- Shape dough into logs and place on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden.
- Cool and slice into cookies.
Notes
- Store cookies in an airtight container.
- Use different nuts for variation.
