Description

Italian stuffed cabbage rolls filled with seasoned meat and rice.


Ingredients

  • 1 large head of cabbage
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Boil the cabbage in salted water for 5 minutes to soften.
  3. In a bowl, mix the ground beef, cooked rice, onion, garlic, egg, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  4. Remove cabbage leaves and place a spoonful of the meat mixture on each leaf.
  5. Roll the leaves tightly, tucking in the sides.
  6. Place the rolls seam-side down in a baking dish.
  7. Pour marinara sauce over the rolls.
  8. Bake for 45 minutes.
