Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cold butter, diced
  • 1/4 cup cold water
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables (carrots, peas, corn)
  • 1/2 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix flour and salt.
  2. Add butter and mix until crumbly.
  3. Gradually add cold water to form a dough.
  4. Wrap dough in plastic and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  5. In a pan, sauté onion and garlic until soft.
  6. Add mixed vegetables, thyme, paprika, and black pepper. Cook for 5 minutes.
  7. Roll out dough and cut into circles.
  8. Place vegetable mixture on one half of each circle.
  9. Fold and seal edges with a fork.
  10. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 25 minutes until golden.

Notes

  • Serve with dipping sauce.
  • Can be frozen before baking.
