Description
Kolacky are traditional Czech pastries filled with fruit or sweet cheese.
Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup fruit preserves or sweet cheese filling
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, butter, cream cheese, sugar, vanilla, and salt until smooth.
- Chill the dough for 30 minutes.
- Roll out the dough on a floured surface.
- Cut into squares and place a spoonful of filling in the center.
- Fold corners over the filling to form a pocket.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Cool and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
Notes
- Use any fruit preserves you like.
- Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
- These can be frozen for later use.
