A flavorful Korean-style pot roast that combines tender beef with rich spices and vegetables.
Ingredients

- 3 lbs beef chuck roast
- 1 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup sesame oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 inch ginger, grated
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 carrots, chopped
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 tablespoon black pepper
- 2 green onions, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
- In a large bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and black pepper.
- Place the beef chuck roast in a roasting pan and cover it with the sauce mixture.
- Add sliced onions and chopped carrots around the roast.
- Pour beef broth into the pan.
- Cover the pan with foil and roast for 3-4 hours, or until the beef is tender.
- Remove from oven and let it rest for 15 minutes before slicing.
- Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions.
Notes
- Serve with rice or noodles for a complete meal.
- Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- Adjust sweetness by adding more or less brown sugar.
