Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (28 ounces) crushed tomatoes
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • 8 lasagna noodles, broken into pieces
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, brown the ground beef with onion and garlic.
  2. Add crushed tomatoes, beef broth, and Italian seasoning.
  3. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
  4. Add broken lasagna noodles and cook until tender.
  5. Stir in ricotta cheese and half of the mozzarella.
  6. Serve hot, topped with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan.
