Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup honey
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup ground almonds
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon ground ginger
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar (for icing)
- 2 tablespoons water (for icing)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, baking soda, and spices.
- In a separate bowl, combine honey, brown sugar, and egg.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture.
- Fold in ground almonds.
- Shape dough into small balls and place on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden.
- Mix powdered sugar and water for icing.
- Cool cookies and drizzle icing on top.

- Store in an airtight container.
- Enhance flavor by letting cookies sit for a day.
