Ingredients

- 1 lb flank steak
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 avocado, sliced
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Season the flank steak with salt, pepper, chili powder, and cumin.
- Add the steak to the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare.
- Remove steak from skillet and let it rest.
- Add sliced bell pepper and onion to the skillet and sauté for 5 minutes.
- Slice the steak thinly against the grain.
- In a bowl, combine steak, sautéed vegetables, avocado, and cilantro.
Notes
- Adjust seasoning to your taste.
- Serve with lime wedges if desired.
- This dish can be made ahead of time and stored in the fridge.
