Ingredients

- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup maple syrup

- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup (for icing)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, cream together butter and brown sugar.
- Add maple syrup, egg, and vanilla extract; mix well.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture; combine.
- Roll dough into small balls and place on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden.
- Let cookies cool completely.
- For icing, mix powdered sugar and maple syrup until smooth.
- Spread icing on cooled cookies.
