A deliciously rich and comforting dessert made with bread, cranberries, and maple syrup.
Ingredients

- 4 cups of stale bread, cubed
- 2 cups of milk
- 1 cup of heavy cream
- 3/4 cup of maple syrup
- 1/2 cup of sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup of fresh cranberries
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine milk, cream, maple syrup, sugar, eggs, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt.
- Add the cubed bread and cranberries to the mixture. Stir gently to combine.
- Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the top is golden and the center is set.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- Can substitute dried cranberries if fresh are not available.
