  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease and flour a bundt pan.
  3. In a bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  5. In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, alternating with milk.
  7. Stir in vanilla extract.
  8. Divide the batter in half; mix cocoa powder into one half.
  9. Pour half of the vanilla batter into the bundt pan, then half of the chocolate batter. Repeat layers.
  10. Swirl a knife through the batter for a marbled effect.
  11. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  12. Let cool before removing from the pan.
