Description
Maulwurfkuchen vom Blech is a delicious chocolate cake with a creamy filling, resembling a molehill.
Ingredients

- 250g all-purpose flour
- 250g sugar
- 250g butter
- 5 eggs
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 100g cocoa powder
- 500g quark
- 200g whipped cream
- 1 packet vanilla sugar
- Chocolate shavings for decoration
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, butter, eggs, baking powder, and cocoa powder until smooth.
- Pour the batter into a greased baking sheet.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes.
- Let the cake cool completely.
- Mix quark, whipped cream, and vanilla sugar in a bowl.
- Cut the cooled cake in half horizontally.
- Spread the quark mixture on the bottom layer of the cake.
- Place the top layer back on.
- Decorate with chocolate shavings.
