A delicious breakfast muffin inspired by McGriddle sandwiches.
Ingredients

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 large egg
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 4 slices cooked bacon
- 4 slices cheese
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
- In another bowl, whisk milk, egg, melted butter, vanilla, and maple syrup.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients until just mixed.
- Pour batter into muffin cups, filling halfway.
- Add a slice of bacon and cheese on top of each muffin.
- Cover with more batter until full.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden.
- Cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Use maple-flavored syrup for extra sweetness.
- Substitute bacon with sausage if preferred.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
