Description
A traditional Greek dish featuring meatballs in a tangy lemon sauce.
Ingredients

- 500g ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the ground beef, breadcrumbs, parsley, onion, garlic, egg, salt, and pepper.
- Form the mixture into small balls.
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Brown the meatballs on all sides.
- Add chicken broth and lemon juice to the pan.
- Simmer for 20 minutes or until cooked through.
- Serve hot with sauce over the meatballs.
Notes
- Adjust lemon juice to taste.
- Serve with rice or bread.
- Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
