- 1 cup crushed graham crackers
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 2 ripe bananas, sliced
- 2 cups milk
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3 egg yolks
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup whipped cream
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix crushed graham crackers, sugar, and melted butter.
- Press the mixture into muffin tins to form crusts.
- Bake for 10 minutes or until golden.
- In a saucepan, combine milk, sugar, cornstarch, and salt.
- Heat over medium heat until thickened, stirring constantly.
- Whisk in egg yolks and vanilla extract.
- Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- Place banana slices in the cooled crusts.
- Spoon the custard over the bananas.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
- Top with whipped cream before serving.
Notes
- Use ripe bananas for better flavor.
- Make the crust in advance for convenience.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
