Description
A delicious and easy-to-make Chinese dish prepared in a crockpot.
Ingredients

- 2 pounds of chicken thighs
- 1 cup of soy sauce
- 1/2 cup of honey
- 1/4 cup of rice vinegar
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon of ginger, grated
- 1 tablespoon of sesame oil
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 cups of broccoli florets
- 2 tablespoons of cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons of water
Instructions
- Place chicken thighs in the crockpot.
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil.
- Pour the sauce over the chicken.
- Add bell pepper and onion to the crockpot.
- Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- 30 minutes before serving, add broccoli.
- Mix cornstarch and water, and stir into the crockpot to thicken the sauce.
- Serve hot over rice.
Notes
- Adjust sweetness by changing honey amount.
- Use other vegetables if desired.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
