Ingredients

  • 6 cups bread cubes
  • 2 cups mushrooms, chopped
  • 1 cup onion, chopped
  • 1/2 cup celery, chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 2 cups vegetable broth
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add onions and celery, sauté until soft.
  3. Add mushrooms, cook until browned.
  4. Stir in herbs and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Combine bread cubes in a large bowl.
  6. Pour mushroom mixture over bread cubes.
  7. Add vegetable broth, mix well.
  8. Transfer to a greased baking dish.
  9. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30-35 minutes.
