A savory stuffing made with mushrooms and herbs.
Ingredients

- 6 cups bread cubes
- 2 cups mushrooms, chopped
- 1 cup onion, chopped
- 1/2 cup celery, chopped
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped
- 2 cups vegetable broth
- 1/4 cup butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add onions and celery, sauté until soft.
- Add mushrooms, cook until browned.
- Stir in herbs and season with salt and pepper.
- Combine bread cubes in a large bowl.
- Pour mushroom mixture over bread cubes.
- Add vegetable broth, mix well.
- Transfer to a greased baking dish.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30-35 minutes.
Notes
- Use day-old bread for best texture.
- Feel free to add your favorite herbs.
