Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 cups cherry tomatoes
  • 1 cup fresh mozzarella balls
  • 1/2 cup fresh basil leaves
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large oven-safe skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Season chicken with salt and pepper. Add to the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes on each side until browned.
  4. Add minced garlic and cherry tomatoes to the skillet.
  5. Transfer skillet to the oven and bake for 15 minutes.
  6. Remove from oven, add mozzarella and basil on top.
  7. Return to oven for 5 more minutes until cheese is melted.
  8. Serve immediately.
