Ingredients

  • 2 cups penne pasta
  • 1 pound boneless chicken breast, cubed
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup corn, canned or frozen
  • 1 cup bell pepper, diced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup shredded cheese

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, combine chicken, barbecue sauce, chicken broth, corn, bell pepper, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat.
  3. Add the penne pasta and stir well.
  4. Reduce heat to low and cover the pot.
  5. Cook for 15-20 minutes or until pasta is tender.
  6. Remove from heat and stir in shredded cheese until melted.
  7. Serve warm.
