Description
Delicious orange cardamom scones are a perfect treat for tea time.
Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cardamom
- 1/4 cup cold butter, cubed
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon orange zest
- 1/2 cup dried cranberries
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cardamom.
- Add butter and mix until crumbly.
- Stir in cream, orange zest, and cranberries.
- Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead gently.
- Pat dough into a circle and cut into wedges.
- Place on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes.
- Let cool before serving.

- Substitute cranberries with chocolate chips if desired.
