- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cups mascarpone cheese
- 1 cup cream cheese
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1/4 cup fresh orange juice
- 1 tablespoon orange zest
- 1 cup dark chocolate, chopped
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).
- Combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter in a bowl.
- Press the mixture into the bottom of a springform pan.
- In a large bowl, beat mascarpone cheese, cream cheese, and sugar until smooth.
- Add eggs, orange juice, and orange zest. Mix until combined.
- Pour the cheesecake batter over the crust in the springform pan.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes or until the center is set.
- Let the cheesecake cool completely, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
- For the ganache, heat heavy cream until just simmering and pour over chopped chocolate.
- Stir until smooth and let cool slightly.
- Pour ganache over the chilled cheesecake and spread evenly.
- Refrigerate for another hour before serving.
Notes
- Use room temperature ingredients for best results.
- Make sure the cheesecake is fully cooled before adding ganache.
- Serve with fresh orange slices for garnish.
